Anxiety and Depression

From chronic experiences to specific life circumstances, there are many things that can lead to us not feeling at our best. We can help you conquer those challenges and get back to feeling good!

Anxiety can come in many shapes and sizes, but it's got a common theme: Avoidance. Anxiety almost always leads us to avoid certain things, places, people, or topics. Unfortunately, avoidance does not often lead to resolution.

If you are ready to break the chains of anxiety that hold you back from success in your life, relationships, and work, then let us help you develop the skills and tools necessary to do so. We will use therapies like CBT, ACT, and ERP in our work together. Facing your anxiety and learning how to address it, rather than avoid it, is hard. But oh, so rewarding!

Here at the Marriage and Family Clinic, our therapists understand that dealing with depression is not as easy as, "just get over it" or "just quit laying in bed all day". For many with depression, it can be debilitating. For others, you've found a way to put on a smiling face for the world around you, but inside you are crumbling and feeling like a pit of despair.

Whatever your experience, we can help you find a way out of that dark, hopeless place. Our approach is holistic in the sense that we will help you make progress in all parts of your life (social, mental, physical, spiritual) not just put a mental band-aid on the sadness.

Trauma, Grief, and Loss

This thing we call the human experience is not easy. Tragedy can strike at any moment, usually when we least expect it. Dealing with intense pain or loss can make it incredibly difficult to just make it through the day. Know that you are not alone, and you don't have to bear your difficulties alone either.

Our therapists are skilled in helping individuals work through the anger, hurt, frustration, sorrow, hopelessness, and shame that often accompany trauma and loss.
